APE valve spring retainers are precision-machined from aircraft-grade titanium bar stock using state-of-the-art CNC machinery. They offer advantages like precisely bored taper keeper holes and a shorter design for added clearance with valve guides. APE is the only manufacturer of motorcycle retainers that also builds cylinder heads, ensuring a proper fit and clearance. Our valve springs are made of premium chrome silicone wire and can handle high lift cams and aggressive camshaft profiles. Seat pressure ranges from 60 to 64 lbs with a recommended lift limit of 0.470" when using APE Ti retainers.
