Credits are a one-time digital unlock fee that licenses your specific VIN to the CMS Tuners software.
- Sea-Doo: 4 credits required per ski ECU.
- Yamaha: 2 credits required per ski ECU.
- Kawasaki & Fast Powersports: Coming soon. Only Mail in ECU Flash no Credits needed.
Once licensed, that VIN is permanently unlocked — flash and update your tune as many times as you want in the future at no additional cost.

Can I switch between mail-in and remote tuning?
Yes. If you start with a mail-in tune and later want an RTD kit to update your tune yourself, we can accommodate that.
Do I need to remove my ECU for the RTD kit?
No. All plug-and-play models connect through the diagnostic port. Only the MG1 ECU (2024 325hp & 2025+ Sea-Doos) requires removal for the initial bench unlock.
How long does the mail-in process take?
Allow approximately 2 days from the day we receive your ECU. We'll notify you when it ships back.
Does tuning void my warranty?
Using aftermarket tuning products may affect your manufacturer's warranty. We recommend checking with your dealer.
Do you tune modified skis?
Absolutely — that's our specialty. Select "Modified" in the options above and describe your mods in the notes box. We tune specifically for your setup.
